The 2nd one come out august 17th and already A third High School Musical movie, titled "Haunted High School Musical", due out in 2008, was announced before filming of the second movie even started

Is it really true? That there's a 3rd HSM already? I think they just come up with the idea, but they haven't filmed it yet. Ofcourse, they will have to know what the response of the people about on the 2nd HSM before they were going to film the 3rd one! But anyway, im sure that would be an awesome part! I can't wait to see the 2nd part and now i am more excited what would be the 3rd part could bring us. I hope that it would be also worth watching! I love the concept of High School Musical! That doe'snt surprise me, thats how it usually works these days. High School Musical was a big cash cow for Disney, netting them more money than they had anticipated. Its only natural that they're going to milk it for all its worth. I would'nt be surprised if they made four or five High School Musical movies. I would'nt mind, although the second one was kind of a letdown for me. I did'nt enjoy it nearly has much has the first one. [ucanbeasurvivor]
