I was searching and recalling few of my teachers in high school and grade school. If my some of them knows how to use facebook. Luckily, I found few of them using facebook. I really miss my grade school and high school teachers. I hope I can see them once in a while in just in facebook.

I dont miss any of them. I wasnt close to them at all. I also didnt wanna be close to my teachers because I feel like its not right. My teachers also had other favorites and its not me but I dont really care whether they are going to have me as their favorite or not. I can just remember one thing when I was in elementary, not one teacher ever scolded me. I got scolded only once when I was in high school because the teacher thought I wasnt listening to her lecture. I was just caught talking with my classmate which was in fact I was discussing the lesson to her. My teacher didnt want any explanation which was very unfair for me that's why I never liked her and that incident always made me remember her. [p3ks626]
Hi kent---oh yes I miss them so much. Specially my Elementary teachers. Most of them are do not use facebook, or they are retired now. In the province, most teachers do not enjoy this thing, except those new teachers who are already introduced to friendster and facebook. Luckily almost all my teachers in High School use friendster or facebook so we can communicate often. And I have all their Cellphone Nos so I could send a message anytime I want. yes i missed my teachers. almost all of them left a mark on me. Now that i am a high school teacher, i know now how they feel in front of the class when some students are not listening. lol! [basqui]
I think many of my old teachers are now departed. I know at least 7 who are. Once I thought it would be nice to find my old french teacher as I got on really well with her but I think not many people of her age group use facebook. Even some people of my own age wont use it. My daughter has 2 of her teachers from her college years(16-18) who were not really all that much older than she was. [pandaeyes]
Hi kent, I still get in touch with some of my classmates and teachers in high school. And we still bump on each other once in a while in the market and malls. One of my best friends until now is my classmate back then and we chat in facebook or yahoo almost everyday. So i don't really feel like i am missing them because we still see each other every now and then. [Gareth126]
We had a school reunion last year and whilst I wasn't sure I would enjoy going, it turned out to be great. I really loved seeing people I hadn't seen for nearly 50 years and it really reminded me how I missed my young school days, even if at that young age I would rather have been doing something else! happy_Derek [derek_a]
yes kent` i also miss some of them. i miss them more when i see friends from school holding batch reunions and post pictures and the event as well on facebook and was able to see them. i also wonder if some of my favorite teachers use facebook so i can add them to my list of friends. [neildc]

I don't miss my gtade school teachers because I was a loner in grade school. Out of my high school teachers, I miss all of them except for 5. Among them, I miss my first year high school Math teacher the most because he made me love and appreciate Math. [kokowit]
I hated grade school junior high and high school. Not only were my teachers complete tards, the kids were pathetic and I hated all of them. I keep getting postcards from my junior high wanting me to update my "biography" for them. I keep ignoring them and they have sent me 2 already and somehow figured out my email. It's creepy. I never went to my 10 year reunion and certainly don't wanna go back there for any reason. [coffeegurl]

Hi Kent, i think i am in the mood now. i just had the chance to chat with our batch president in preparation for our alumni homecoming this december 2010. our batch is the sponsor. this made me missed the days when i was in highschool, my classmates and of course my teachers. i can even picture out some significant moments with them. if not for them i will not be this successful in life. i have great elementary teachers. they were blessed with wisdom, knowledge and patience to being out the best in us. I have some favorite teachers I have in messenger, but it is a great idea to look up for them in Facebook, I will. Al though, since I was studying engineering, most of them are male teaches. Last year one of my favourite school tutors passed away. I was really sad about it. He was so supportive and someone I could always go to when I was having a hard time. I think he was proud of me for going on to college and university and I still have a special Christmas card he gave me in which he wrote the Wordsworth quote "And I again am strong", and it still means a lot to me. I was not fond of grade school or high school. I felt like a misfit. I didn't have meany firends. I was used by so called friends. I hate the teachers. Most of them. I would not care to see any of my old teachers if I had the change or not. Don't care to try them on Facebook either. The only teacher I liked was my first grade teacher. She died like 10 years ago of old age. Most of the other teachers I didn't like. I know I wasn't the only one to feel that way! Some teachers were idiots,had no sense of humor,clueless,had temper issues or just way to boring! So I could care less about my old teachers. [blue65packer]

I actually have a couple cute stories to tell about great teacher I had. In junior high school I had a great teacher names Mr. Hanauer for my government class. My good friend then was a gal nicknamed Cricket. She and I would pick up a brownie from the snack machine on our way to class. She would quietly open hers but I would always get myself into trouble because I was noisey. Years later we had both married and were pregnant at the same time. We decided to go back and see Mr. Hanauer. We were all glad to see eachother and he gave us these parting words: "You two always did do everything together!" I had lived in another town for afew years before coming back here and one of my teachers seemed to have followed me. He was teaching at the school the next year after I came back home. It was so great to see him again for he was one of my favorite teachers. Like a dream come true cause the other teachers were not near as nice and innovative as he was. [celticeagle]

I miss not really the teachers but the experience, the joy and happiness being young, being free from worries, problems, etc. Good that you were able to locate some of your grade and high school teachers through the net, mine are still visible in our place, if I want i could meet them anytime. No I didnt miss them because I hate all of them. They are so mean to us during higschool and grade school. They beat us if we dont have assignments, projects or we are noisy. Beating students is forbidden in our law so they shouldn't done this. I was beaten by my teachers before and some leave a scars on my legs. I hope that it wont happen to my child, Im glad that nowadays, I seldom heard of teachers beating the students. [junmae]
