Have You Ever Failed A Subject In School...

I am lucky that i have never failed any subject in school... but i was so close in subjects like: Economics... i didn't like the teacher so i always skipped his class... and would attend only when there was and exam... Business English... i think the teacher hated me... since i would always make facial gestures every time she would tell a story about her dogs... I got the lowest possible score in these two subject... and i don't know what my parents would have done to me if i failed... there was not enough money for summer classes... so i am just so glad that i passed... But now that i am older... and had experienced teaching... i think i should have done a lot better... or just gave my best so that those ugly low grades did not tarnish my school records...

responses and comments:

I failed in Econ yup and that among personal reasons is why I didn't graduate. I just did not get the crap. I passed everything else with flying colors but econ just really got me. I may have understood it better if the teacher would have acctually taught us. [mrsfrodotata]
Economics is quite a complicated subject... and the irony of what happened to me is that... i thought it for 5 years after graduating from college... but i did my best not to repeat the mistake my teacher did... too bad it caused you not to graduate... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

Yep sadly i have failed... I took french emersion in grade 6 i did very well. Then i tried French Emersion 7 and relized it was more french then my french 6 had covered. lol. I believe i was getting like 20% in almost all my Emersion 7 classes lol. I think that was a pitty mark too cause i could not understand french enough to do any of my assignments lol. When it cames to test i only answered mutliple choice questions lol i knew where to put my name and date which got me a few extra points haha. [questionsnoanswers]
Wow... French... the only two language that we studied in school were Filipino and English... i was quite good at both... except for the business English class... i think French is quite a difficult language to learn... so i understand your situation with French Emersion 7... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

No, I never failed any classes. I really had to put little effort into getting good grades. I could skip class for a month or more and still pull a B. It drove my father mad. During the 9th grade I rarely attended class and still brought home passing grades in every subject. LOL. [kbourgerie]
Oh my... you must be a very smart person to be able to pull good grades despite being absent... some people are just blessed with a good brain and memory... in my case... i had to do a lot of reading and memorization just to pull through... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

Hello aseretdd, I never failed any subject too, while in school but when I was studying for my degree, yes I did. I told you that before. I hate Physics. I purposely did that so that I could quit the course. My parents didn't get mad at me but they asked me why I did that. When I think about the years I spent to study, I feel that it was a stupid thing to do...really! [gr8life]
I remember that... you didn't want to be a doctor... so you intentionally failed some subjects just to make your parents see that point... and i agree... that was a stupid thing to do... but at least you made up for it... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

no never. actually i had been a good stdent throughout the student life. it was not a cse that i failed in any subject. moreover i was a topper throughout in school and colleges. so no failing... [subha12]
yaa, got award in all the classes. parents were most proud when i got the gold medal for standing first class first in university in my engineering. [subha12]

I didn't fail in any of the main exams...but I failed Chemistry in the class tests. I was a good student...and slacked off when we changed countries...and I was getting used to the different cultures (which wasn't very conducive to learning). I, now realize that I would have done much better if we remained in the same country. [SViswan]
It wasn't the curriculum that was daunting (I did the same curriculum in both countries). It was more of the lifestyle that I had to get used to...and the funny thing is that we moved to my native country then. The timings and the ways of life was very difficult to adjust to...and I just didn't spend enough time and energy to study. [SViswan]

I have never failed any subject in any final exams but I have flunked small class tests, I still get nightmares thinking I may fail in some subject in finals. [dbhattji]
It is easy to recover from failing in small class tests... the most important is to pass the final exams with flying colors... so i used to put all my energy in studying for them... thanks for the response... and i hope you never fail... [aseretdd]

Hello aseretdd! I have not tried failing but I had some tough experiences in school but, with friends, determination, courage, time and more effort, I was able to handle it perfectly! [checapricorn]
I agree with you, I have met a lot of people who were not successful in their student's life but been successful in their respective field, so, basically, it's not also the basis for having a great career, but, it's always an advantage though! Some just didn't like the pressure and they find it boring to be in school! [checapricorn]

the only thing i truly failed at was math-it didn't interest me,so i didn't apply myself.i knew i wasn't going into accounting or anything,so it wasn't a big deal to me.but i can do my bills,so that's enough. i had a grumpy english teacher too,but i didn't let her bother me. sometimes i think they hired them for that LOL [scarlet_woman]
Hiring grumpy old English teacher was a trend in old schools... i think the new schools prefer the bubbly friendly teachers... and i agree to that... a lot of students fail in math... i also struggled... even if i love the subject... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

History I never could pass History it was just to hard for me. And gym I passed only cause you couldnt fail if you at least tried but I sucked at everything in gym lol. [minnie_98214]
I love history... and i always get high grades in that subject... but some of my classmates hated it because of the memorization that comes along with it... but i almost failed in gym... since i don't even try... i hated P.E. thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

I failed calculus. It was so difficult for me to understand that subject. When it's over mathematics, don't ask me. The second time I took it. I dropped the subject fear of failing again. I'm not good with mathematics. I would rather skip the class than being there without getting anything understandable. So I had ugly grade in my transcript of records. I don't look at it anymore. [joyangz32]
Oh my... calculus was so difficult... and i had to take three kinds of calculus subjects... the simple calculus, differential calculus, and integral calculus... all of them difficult in their own respect... good think i was able to pass each... not all my classmates were as lucky as me... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

Fortunately I haven't failed any subject.......came close to failing though.... Physics......I got red ink 3.00 (3.00 being the passing mark and 5.00 the failing mark). Per my professor explanation, it is red inked coz I'm barely hanging. Thank goodness the counter part physics laboratory I pass with flying colors. Physical Chemistry ....almost coz before our preliminary exam (first half of the semester) I can't seem to comprehend the subject. Imagine integrating Physics with chemistry.....I don't understand the formulas......then came the second half.....it seems as if I can understand the subject......i made up for all the failing quizzes as well as the failed preliminary exams.....almost aced my quizzes and final exam.....enough to get a grade of 2......YAHOO!........sad thing 8 of my classmates (block section of only 36 student for my course) failed the subject. Biochemistry.......i cried for coz of this subject.....almost failed but still passed.... As you can see I such in everything with chemistry or math....hated those subjects since high school.....quite suprised I made it through..... Always remember to do your best in school.........grades are important but be sure that your attitude and personality develop as well. You can be the most intelligent person on Earth but if your personality sucks.....employers might just get turned off by your attitude [lorelie78n]
Its not really the teacher who dissuade me to go to Medical school. I don't have enough passion to continue. It will be just a waste of money and time knowing I can't give 100%. My decisions are not dictated by a person or a single incident in life. It was made with careful planning and soul searching. I am now following passion. [lorelie78n]

Awwww.... I failed in PHYSICS when I was in college because I got busy with our other projects and I totally forgot this subject... My grades were always passing but not really okay or outstanding so my professor failed me and half of the class actually. hehe [jesbellaine]
I have to agree with you. I took a summer class in Physica and I got perfect 1.0 because the professor is really good and knows how to explain "science" especially to those who can't really understand it. Thanks for the reply! [jesbellaine]

Fortunately i have never failed in my school life , although i hated economics to the core but i managed to breeze thru it with ease. I was good in studies during my school time but somehow my grades started dropping in college. ~pinks~ [itsmepinky]
Good thing you never failed... even if your grades started dropping... that is the trend since there are a lot of extra curricular activities during college life... that also happened to me... but i still was able to maintain a paasing grade in all my subjects... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

I never failed any subject in the main exams... only during mid-term exams(that was what they were called at that time). Chemistry was one subject that I never could understand and I managed to always scrap a pass in it. The worst part that I could remember was in my High School exam - I did Math best and Chemistry worst, but it turned out I got one mark more in Chemistry than in Math, that was my worst experience. I never still understand how that happened...surrender [vijigopi]
Well, maybe your teacher considered the fact that you were trying our best in Chemistry... but teachers and exam results can be very unpredictable... once i was shock to pass a test with flying colors... since i had difficulty with it... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

yes i have. as not good in learning languages at all. was pretty bad and never was interested in new languages. i failed in my regional language, and always had to sit for extra classes. i disliked it. [monishavakil]
Learning a different language is always a challenge... at first... i had a hard time with English Grammar... but with persistance and and open mind... i was able to pull through... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

I failed one subject in school and that was Chemistry, I came close into Trigonometry, but I pulled out with a D+ I think if I could do it all over I would have gone for cooking or Photography as that seems to be what I have found that I love the most since leaving home. But yes I have failed a subject. Mooch [oneandonemakesix]
Cooking and photography are more of a hobby for me... and they were not offered in my school... although we had brief cooking in home economics... a lot of students find it difficult to pass chemistry... and i think passing mainly depends on the teacher... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

Iam very fortunate that I never failed in any subject in my school. I could have failed in my Hindi Language exam but luckily I just passed that subject. I don't how I did that. At the time of paper I put all my effor I think every bit has been handsomely paid. [figjam00]
We reap good things when we plant good seeds... and this should go with a good teacher who is capable of making us understand even the most difficult subject... good thing you passed that Hindi Language exam... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

In 7th grade I failed Science, I had a hard time grasping the material I ended up going to summer school and ended up getting an A in the couse. I was able to do my own experiments and report on them and the teacher made a big difference. I really think if I had her instead of the other teacher during the regular school year I would have passed without issue. [barrudaki]
A teacher can make a big difference when it comes to a subject... they can either instill a love and interest for it or the opposite... good thing that my teachers were quite the good ones... and i only hated P.E... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

Yes I did three times in additional maths.I was getting A's and B's for other subjects. It was a disaster everyone started scolding and pressure me.I left all subjects behind and studied only additional maths for few months and brought it up to B.I was very happy. But it backfired has in the main exam that additional maths pulled grades of other of other subjects down as I ignored other subjects. [creator3000]
I am sorry about that... i do not know any strategy that you could have used in order to salvage the other subjects... but teachers shouldn't be too hard on students... they should know where to draw the line... thanks for the response... and welcome to mylot... [aseretdd]

I failed a Psychology course in college. It was one of those advanced classes with 100 students. I was lost from the beginning and should have asked for help earlier but I was a chicken. [perrytx]
100 students in one class is a lot... but i agree... you should have asked for help earlier... that was how i survived the very difficult subjects like chemisty and some math... i had friends who were really intelligent... and they were so glad to help me... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

Yes I have failed a subject in school, it was math. During my first semester of college I had taken pre algebra. I failed mostly all my quizzes and even went for extra help and I still failed. My professor was never available for extra help I guess because of her schedule, so I had to go to get help from the tutors at the school. I don't think I can take a math class again.... [sweetangel88]
It must be very tough... but i think with a subject like math... the teacher should always be available when their students need them... i hope you were able to cope up with the other math classes... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

It's funny. I've only ever failed a subject once in my life, and that was Religion. Some racist teachers that really hate asians will purposely put you on border line for a fail. My assignment was almost a replica of the top students assignment, yet, I get a C for it. But yet, I've only ever failed Religion once. [nobodyuknow]
I don't think anyone should fail in Religion... your teacher must be one of those who think they have the best race and religion type of teacher... you should have reported him/her to the school adiminstration... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

I failed grade 10 math and took it over in summer school, and was it ever horrible. Four hours straight of math everyday for 3 weeks..getting up early, that deffinately taught me never to fail a subject again, just not worth it. No more slacking! [YoungInLove]
We all tend to learn the hard way... and i am glad that you decided not to slack off anymore... i definitely wouldn't want to expereince a subject again if i find it boring and difficult... so i would just try to get even the lowest passing grade... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

I failed geometry in high school I never did understand taht stuff and I still don't understand it. I won't be any help to my children with their math homework. Luckily geometry was not a required subject to graduate. [luvstochat]
I also find geometry a very difficult math subject... and can never get those postulates and reasoning stuff... i prefer trigonometry and algebra... i hope your children will do better in that subject... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

never in my life.. have always been the amonsgt the top students in my batch mostly between 1-3... hardly once or twice below taht... get a lot of highest also [WasmanuDny]
Good for you... a smart and intelligent mind can get you anywhere in the world... so keep honing that gift from God... thanks for the response... welcome to mylot and i hope you enjoy your stay her... [aseretdd]

I did, but it was intentional. I hated school and I dropped out so I didn't finish my finals or anything. I failed a few classes. It didn't really matter because I was getting my GED at the time. School records only go so far. They don't carry on to your career or anything. [reene0225]
I think this is one reason why the GED was created... for those people smart enough but then nor inclined to going to school for a number of years... in my country... grades get you very far in the career area... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

Failed 8th grade English by 2 percent. Luckily that didn't go on my transcripts. Other than that I haven't really been close to failing. I sometimes regret not taking harder classes or doing better but can't do much anymore. Except go back to high school lol...I'll pass. [brianhanson37]
I think going back to highschool is not an option... you can always make up by doing good in college or during your masteral education... i made up for my lack of studying during those two periods... thanks for the response... welcome to mylot... and i hope you enjoy your stay here... [aseretdd]

I"m afraid I kind of failed math in grade 9. But it was the average marks that counted and I had high marks in everything else, so even though I failed, I still got to grade 10. My mom almost has a heart attack and got me into tutoring even during the summer months. It worked for me, having to stay behind while they went on vacation because I had to have my tutoring cured me of my ignorance of math LOL Passed with honors after that hehehehe [arkaf61]
We do tend to learn the hard way. And when it comes to school, although sometimes it is true that we're struggling, often it's just that we don't really want to work that hard, or are to focused in other things, or even because we don't won't to look nerdy. [arkaf61]

I have to maintain my grades, when i was in college, to maintain my scholarship. A low grade then can affect my general weighted average and thus put me in probation. A failing grade will kick me out of that school. Thru sheer hard work, I was able to get high grades (with an exemption to a single 3, my Spanish!) which served as my badge to better work. [everlasting]
I also had to maintain a certain average grade in college to retain my scholarship... and the 3 in Business English put me under the radar... good thing my other grades were able to pull my average grade... I don't blame you for getting that grade in Spanish... it is such a difficult subject...vthanks for the response... [aseretdd]

yes experience one subject that i failed. our class for that subject was at 1pm in the afternoon my sleeping time. everytime our instructor start to his lecture i feel asleep so what i did ask my friend to accompany me to go movie theater. until i'm addicted to movie at that hour so i skip always to his class until classes end, when i saw my class card and found out that i failed i accept it because that was my fault. when i retake the subject i tried my best and i am one of the top 3 in the whole department who taking up the subject. you want to know what the subject is was? it was Physics 101. LOL [julyteen]
OMG. i comment again on this post, sorry i forgot that i have posted my comment already. [julyteen]

We often failed the exams especially when we were in high school. The study pressure was so heavy at that time. After I studied in the university, I have never failed any exams. I love China [youless]
That is a good thing to know... most students who were not good during their high school days excelled during their university days... i guess they are what we call... late bloomers in terms of studying... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

I failed math in grade 5 and had to go to summer school - it was the best thing that ever happened to me! I learned more in the 6 weeks of summer school than I did for the whole school year! That teacher was the most patient gem I have ever me! And, surprise, surprise, I am now working in accounts payable/receivables and inventory control - all things where I need great math skills! Lexa [LexaNightShadows]
Wow... that is a good thing to know... seem like you are living proof that the teacher's role play a key part in students' understanding and appreciation of any subject... congratulations to you... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

I have never failed but sometime people failed for personal problems o because they cannot learn easy and many teachers don't care about that problems, that's why i think teachers must learn education to teach, i mean i had a chemistry professor that was engineer not a teacher graduate so he don't care about help people. ¬¬ [Psyclown]
I agree with you... teachers should be trained how to properly teach students... a genius mind doesn't exactly equate to being a good teacher... i had a teacher who was considered as a genius... but he was never able to impart his knowledge to us... thanks for the response and welcome to mylot... i hope you enjoy your stay here... [aseretdd]

i don't have any subjects that i failed when i was in high school but i do have some subjects that i failed in college like programming or math lol [rhane7315]
College is a lot more difficult than high school... aside for that... college students are faced with a lot of adversities... so for some... failing is like a natural occurrance... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

Luckily i didn't. We are the one made our grades! So, i can compute if i can pass or not. First was my TAX subject when i was in college - I don't like my instructor and the way he discussed. His limits of absent was three days. I really used that three days of being absent. AFter that...i dont know i just dont like that subject. Prelim i failed so...i compute how to pass it. Then knowing i should get 95% in final. So luckily i made it..i passed. Second was my Economics subject. I don't know why that instructor hated me. His way of exams was thru of research and ideas of the subject. I knew i got it but why he gave me a 3.5 or 70%. His reasons is why everytime i passed by on him..i didn't even care to say hello to him????? so i asked if when??? i didn't had an idea. Gosh..So, next.. everytime i saw him, i really stop by then smile and said hi sir!!! What ah...ngek! Then i got 98% i passed. LOl! Sometimes a teacher really make me sick! [ozzeth]
Good thing you know how to compute your grades... i also know how to do this... that is why i was quite shock to get an almost failing grade in business english... some teachers can really be weird... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

Hello asertdd. Like you, I almost failed one of my subjects. It was my major subject. From what I remembered the subject was Introduction to Peace. The passing grade of our major subjects was 2.5. My teacher didn't know that, that was my major subject so, she gave me a 3 which is a failing grade already. I told her that was my major subject so, she changed it to 2.5. Good thing she did. [ericajoyce]
You bet. I thought she wouldn't. I think the reason why she gave me a failing grade because I think I wasn't able to do well in her subject. It was an easy subject but I didn't do my best. It is indeed an interesting subject. [ericajoyce]

I was treated as a good and sincere student in my schooling days. In each and every tests I got good marks in all subjects. And mathematics was my favourite subject. The other boys were not so good in their studies. But, when I wrote the class X board examination, I had some tentions that whether I wrote all exams good or not. That time I was a first class student. When I saw my result I disappointed. I didnot know what was happening with me . My friends who were weak at studies got passed in the examination. Totally I collapsed and disappointed .After 3 or 4 days I got my failed memo. I n that memo I had been failed In English with a short of 5 marks. In other subjects I got more than 70% marks. This was my first and last time failure in the career of my studies. I lost one year . But cleared the english subject with 80 % I always remembered about the schooling life. Now i am doing lecturership in mathematics. [abdulmajeed]
That must have been a very sad period of your life... but then at least you were able to recover... i think you had that common case of a mind blackout because of all the stress of studying... I also love mathematics... although i am not that good in it... i am just an average math student... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

Yup, I flunked twice or thrice I believe. Remember getting 15 over 100 once when I was in fourth grade, and the teacher announced it to the whole class. She could have published it in the newspapers. ;) And I flunked again in pre-university college too. Same subject, maths. Whew! How I detest math! Lemme see, how much is two plus two? Six, isn't it? Cheers and happy mylotting! [positiveminded1977]
Math is indeed a very difficult subject... and a lot of students suffer from this... it doesn't also help to have a terror teacher... good thing i love math... and most of my teachers were not only bearable... but great in what they do... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

hi aseretdd, in my whole study life, i almost have got it perfect, no failed subjects... but it was the 2nd to the last sem during my tertiary education, that i taste the bitterness of failing... it is unforgettable, my first time, it was design two, but no regrets anymore cause it had taught me well... no regrets, digerati [digerati]

I am lucky i guess. Not yet failed in any subject. But i hate Math like anything. I always passed it on the borderline of marks. 40/100 or 45/100 !! Thank god ! I just hate it..but everybody in my family have scored awesome marks in that subject. Don't know why it happens to me. [infected10]
Maybe there was a teacher who terrorized you into doing math problems... and thus... that resulted to you disliking the subject... but eventhough you hated it... atleast you were able to get passing scores... maybe if you have a little like for it... you would have been great in the subject... thanks for the response... welcome to mylot... [aseretdd]

I failed general studies in my first year of a levels, but only because i accidentally missed one of the three exams! I wasn't taht disappointed though because it isn't even a real subject... you can't study for it, though the idea behind it is good. I'm doing it again this year, and managed to get to all the exams so we shall see how i've done in a few months time. Not a U this time I'd hope! [bojangles88]
That is too bad... i wonder why your teacher did not give you any special exam for the one that you missed... i am sure if the reason is valid the teacher is required to give you one... well, good luck... i hope things will turn out fine for you... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

Yes, I failed Math in my Senior year of High School. Plus, I have failed Home Economics too.. I knew nothing about sewing and cooking at the time.lollol [cream97]
Oh my... in Home Economics... we always had a partner everytime there is an activity... and i was always lucky to be paired with someone who is good in cooking and sewing... and that helped me pass every practical test... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

I never failed a subject. In fact, I was one of those students who stressed endlessly over their grades and would do just about anything for success - not the type to go off and have fun if it meant bringing my homework assignment down a letter grade. I felt very pressured to do well (I never had pushy parents or teachers, though, so most of this pressure was self-inflicted, and an element of other outside sources - like since I had OCD and a social/emotional disorder, I was afraid people thought that made me stupid, so I felt like I had to do well to prove them wrong, and if I didn't do well, it would confirm every stereotype they had of me... disturbing thoughts like that). I was a straight-A student (occasional "B") but think had I not been so anxious all the time I probably could have done better yet. Even now I am just learning how to relax and have confidence in myself and take things one step at a time. Luckily my anxiety and hypersensitivity didn't noticeably impede my academic performance - thank God - but I do feel for people who can't seem to make the connection in school because of personal/emotional problems though, since those in a school setting can be so one-dimensional and judgmental. [skydancer]
Seems like you are very hard on yourself when it comes to performing academically in school... try to relax a little... i am sure nobody knows or would notice your OCD or social/emotional disorder... but it is good that you are living up to your potential... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

Nopers. Not yet... I would literally die if I failed a single subject in school. And yes, in what you said, you should have done better in those two subjects because they are a part of your school records and I think that will stay permanent, FOREVER. [xXSnowFoxXx]
They did stay permanent... and nothing i do could ever change that... it is only now that i stop and think... that i could have done better... but i am just glad that like you... i never faild a single subject... thanks for the response... welcome to mylot and i hope you enjoy your stay here... [aseretdd]

Hello aseretdd Ji, Well frankly speaking, I failed in half-yaerly school tsets in class IX in chemistry. But my father took corrective action and then I never looked back. I never like humanities subjects. I studied Physics/Chemistry/Statistics as a optional and English/Hindi as cumulsory subjects in my graduation and i did my mastres in Statistics. College and University life was ever remembering. have a great day. [shalu1975]
What do you mean by "your father took corrective action?"... did your grade change to a passing one with what you father did?... seems like you took very difficult subjects during college... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

Neah..Never I ve been liek quite a good student alwayz..Bright in Academics:) [doctorgenius]
Well, that is quite evident in your user name... you are botha a doctor and a genius... Congratulations on that... [aseretdd]

Very interesting question from the host. To be frank, I have been doing very well in all my studies all the while, to an extent i can get a scholarship from government to study overseas. However, I failed one subject in my 5th form, when the final exam is coming, I failed that particular subject. I failed that because i never paid attention into that subject and I never bothered what the teacher was talking about in classroom. Therefore, I failed it. The teacher humiliated me, by saying I could never do this subject well in front of my whole class, I got really irritated that time. I went for tuition, and doing lots of exercises in that particular subject. In the end , I scored the highest for that subject and I am really happy about it. My fellow friends asked me to show off this results in front of that teacher who humiliated me, but I did not do so. I believe it's the humiliation from that teacher that pushed me forward, and therefore I chose to be grateful to her, but not to seek for any revenge either physically or psychologically. [lamcouz]
Some teachers have their own way of motivating student to study... in the case of your teacher... it was by humiliating you... i have such teachers in the past... and that method really worked on me... but when i became a teacher... i use it only on students whose personality is like mine... i am glad that everything worked out well for you... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

Hi Aseretdd: I have never failed any subject in school or University. I like all of my subjects except psyics. I don't understand why they teach that in high school. I loved chemestry though. Have a great day. Ivor [TheSpy]
Physics is a complicated subject... and i can understand why you do not like it... a lot of students feel the same way... i am just glad that i had a physics teacher who made the subject very easy for us... so we can all pass with flying colors... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

actually i would say that i have never failed an exam before... til now.. I failed a class quiz on advanced chemistry... lack of studying.. i have gone through schooling all my life without studying and always aced exams but now i see college isnt all that... its tough [ameeluv]
College is really though with tougher teachers... it makes high school teachers seem very lenient... so extra work should always be done... but if you were able to pass high school with flying colors... then passing college is not really a problem... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]

Once a long time ago, I failed math and had to take a remedial course. It was no fun. By the time I got back to regular class I was way behind on new subjects and fell further behind. [beautyqueen26]
Eventually yes, with much home study! Thank you for saying so. Be well. [beautyqueen26]

i remember on my first course i failed 1 subject, that was Physics. Our teacher a cumlaude graduate but he doesn't know how to handle the class that we won't felt bored. i always skip his class, instead of listening his discussions i prefer to went on movie theater. i never regret that he failed me because that was my fault, i enrolled again the subject with another professor i am know careful and got the highest mark. last semester on my second course i have a problem with my economic subject because that was the only subject i got low grade, i am wondering why it happened that my classmate who doesn't have record that she excel in the class from our first year got the higher grade, we found out that our teacher give high grade that student because they are very close and the teacher always received gift from the student. maybe you read my discussions about this. An intelligent person does not automatically equate to an effective teacher... i know teachers who are like that... and i think they should undergo a lot of teaching strategies seminars... but it is a good thing that you were able to make up when you took physics for the second time... thanks for the response.. Well...I hate mathematics with passion...but there's one instance when our teacher conduct a test and surprisingly I'm the only one who got the right answer...odd right? Since, then I still don't like math...but I know deep inside that if I will only learn to love it...it will be much easier for me...but i didn't flunked it though... [lyzabelle]
Well, i guess that shows you have a natural talent in math... but it is being hindered by your hate for it... but i don't blame you... Math can be a very difficult and complicated subject... but it is nice you never failed... thanks for the response... [aseretdd]
