I remember thinking over and over about how subjects would help me in school. Every kid does that right? We all wondered how social studies, advanced maths, English, foreign languages, science, gym, art, or some other subject was going to help us in life. Do you remember any subject that you studied through school that to this day has been useless to you? I disliked all kinds of things yet as I list the subjects here that I took, now at almost 47 years old, I can't say that I haven't used any of my subjects at all. In other words, everything I learned in school has helped me in one way or another.

I agree with you. I have found that there are parts of every subject that I ever studied that have helped me. I also don't see it as being just about subjects, there are a lot of other skills involved in studying that help in later life such as organisation, teamwork, analysis of data, synthesis of new ideas, prioritising of tasks amongst many others. yes but its nice if you pass this all its big help for you ,b'coz now a days more people are bad and cant be trust so,if luck of knowledge about all this thing it easy for to understand especially if your in bussines of working in office.and dealing transaction to other popular businessman.and the things you learned from those past year you hate after a year you realized my teacher teach so, i know wanna do from this situation. Students (and usually teachers) get so wrapped up in the subject itself that they forget (or were never taught) that the subject isn't the point of the class. In education, every subject is supposed to help the student learn a different discipline in thinking. The reason our education system is failing our kids is, most teachers don't plan their lessons around this fact, they just teach them to pass tests. Neither the teacher or the students aren't being served anymore. [ParaTed2k]
nice idea...in school a lot of things you can pick that is the reason our parents send us in school to learned not only that but to improve ourselve in learning good things in our school and to our teacher what they teach you.to have good characteristic and improve the skills you have and explore your knowledge to lot of things you need to learned more than your parents experience in their life past moment year. please dont say you dont know what to say things you learned from it makes our mind sharpen like the pencil and to have better future someday.things you learn gives you idea to think a lot of things here in earth and learn like the scientist do............be patient only in learning this things in school to have great future someday parents will be happy that they children will not experience what they experience in their life. well........ for me mathematics is good subject number are easy in studying not like the others subject,in math thing that you are eating peanut,b'coz peanuts sharpen your mind and the brain become oily.so when you think during solving it will slide meaning easy to remember and easy to formulate the formula and have the correct answer. You are so correct- although there were many that I thought at the time- What the heck- when will I use this- I have at some point- even the pointless badminton class in college- I used it to play badminton camping a few years back- Now if I only majored in frisbee- lol We play all the time and I'm terrible- All the art classes have made me crafty- all the math I use everyday at work in some sort or another-- even gym- taught me how to get fit! Isn't it funny- now there are several things in each class that I won't ever use- just not the whole class! [KrisNY]
I have a fear of object flying in my direction. Even a frisbee or a shuttlecock scare me. I think it has something to do with lack of coordination. [kbkbooks]
yes that's rigth that those subject you mention it everything you learned in school it helped in another way.like the math and english its big help for in daily life living to us b'coz math you can use everytime do calculation example if you are working in bank you use calculator to get the total amount of your customer costs and anywhere now people do calculation malls,offices,banks,restaurant.the english also b,coz some people go other places to understand of what they want to ask somebody they use english to easy understand.am i right!
