Is Our Teacher Reasonable For Getting Mad At Us

Hello fellow mylotters. This happened to us just a few days ago. Our teacher in our major subject walked out on us because when he entered the room, our classmates have not started with their report yet. But the truth is, they were about to start when he came in. The visual aids were already posted on the board but still he got so mad that he walked away and never came back. He didn't even show up the next meeting. So we just did the reporting on our own. Was he right for getting mad? Did you have an experience just like ours?

hmmmmmm got my doubts of him being a good teacher! [Lakota12]

you should talk to your teacher and find out what really happened, and then your teacher's boss because of the unprofesional behavior. And then, you should always be ready when class starts. [okkidokitokki]
Sounds like he has mistaken your class for lunch break. Lol! It's just an excuse. Teachers have perfected their acting. [modstar]

Was the reporting graded? Well how was he supposed to grade you if he wasn't there to see the whole thing? Some teachers act like we should be reading their minds and just know how to do things right - they're "teachers", they're supposed to teach. And unless that's a subject that is actually related to communications (english, management, whatever) then why was he making the students teach his class anyway? Thanks for the response on my discussion! [oyenkai]

Yes i have witnessed a lot of teachers walking out of the room because they're mad or upset. I hate it everytime that happens. They are paid to do their job not to walk out of their job. Their job is to teach not to become emotional. If they can't handle students then i guess teaching is not the job for them. I sometimes think it's just an excuse to get a break at least for that day. HE was wrong for walking out and not coming back because he THOUGHT someone wasn't doing something. I had a professor that walked out on the class because some students were being disruptive and throwing jelly beans at each other instead of taking part in the class. He walked out and said he was done for the evening. [Jezebella]
