My mother only reach grade 3, my father is Grade 6, my sister is only second year highschool, and i am the only one who reach and graduated for Bachelor of science in accountancy, but now we are all working, my mother and my sister as gardener, and my father as construction worker, and me as an office staff in one company but different agency near our home.
my mother is the most intelligent on all of us, because she is the one to handle our family, she also work as vendor when we are young to send me and my sister to school, but my sister got her own family when she is second year highscool then she stop studying. and only me is the one that make my mothers dream.
my mother really love to study, but her parents dont send her to school, and she promise to herself that when she have children, she will sent them to school, no matter what.
im proud of my mother, but sometime when i got mistake, she always say that she is really better than me, if only her parents let her to study, she is not only gardener today.
I admit that, my mother is really better than any of us. because of her, even though they are not graduate of any course or even highschool, they live, and still earning today and also give an award as the gardener of the year because of her good performance.

Hi there! My mother has not also earned a degree in college but because of her persistence to educate 5 of us, we were able to finish our courses in college. She worked hard with my father to give us each the degree we wanted. Cheers to the strengths of our Mothers! [mjmlagat]
Well, same as you my parents didn't finished their studies.. My mother finished only 3 year high school and my father finished his high school since my father don't want to go to school so he stop already.. His parents didn't push him to go to college since they don't also have enough money to send him to school.. My parents got married in a very young age, my mother is 18 and my father is 19 and because of their love they have 4 children (I'm second the last).. My older sister which is going to be 30 this November and my older brother which is 26 years old and I had finished our college degree.. My older sister finished BS MIS while my brother finished BS Accountancy and me, I finished BS Education major in Computer Education.. Me and my brother took college with Scholarship grand.. While my older sister was scholar with my grandmother.. Now, our younger sister is a graduating student in High School, and she was planning to take HRM in college.. Well, my parents don't have a work as regular work.. My father has its sideline like buy and sell same with my mother.. We are living in the house of my grandmother (mother of my father since his father died 12years ago)... Yes, we are extending family.. My aunties and uncles are also living with us (they are still single).. If your thinking that we have a happy family then I will tell you that your wrong.. The family of my father don't like my mother since her family is only poor.. They want that my father will marry a rich girl.. Actually only my grandfather (father of my father) likes my mother.. He is very kind, he never judge people whether your rich or poor.. He knows how to go back to his past life not like my grandmother..Since the time that my grandmother got lucky, they never looked back to her past life.. She changed her personality already.. She don't want to be with those people who are poor simply in our language, "Mata pobre"... It is really hard staying with one house together with them especially when my grandfather died.. There's always a fight in our house.. But when we are together without them, we are happy.. We cannot just live on our own because of "utang na loob" to my grandmother.. So, we just need to have a long/big patient for her and from brothers and sisters of my father.. Actually, Me and my Older sister are living from our parents.. We are living in Luzon while our parents and other siblings are their in Mindanao.. We have our work here in Manila while my brother has its own business in our province which is in the Zamboanga City..If ever we earned enough already then we can live together here in Manila or buy a small house for us in Zamboanga.. As of now, we need to separate for us to be able to fulfill our dreams...happy [kissie34]
Oh by the way, this are the picture of our family.. The old lady their in the middle is my grandmother.. This picture was her 75th Birthday.. happy Well, there is lacking in the picture, my older sister was not there.. The girl whose wearing a spaghetti blouse was the wife of my brother.. I'm the one who's wearing eye glasses.. The the children there are my niece.. The baby is the daughter of my older brother while the other girl is the daughter of my older sister.. lol Then my mother, father and my younger sister.. Maybe, your thinking why we are all in red?? Well, it is already our tradition to wear RED shirt when our older was celebrating their birthday and even our own birthday.. We all wear red simply means that we are happy that she still alive and in wishing for good health.. It is what our grandfather taught us (my grandfather is a Chinese).. happy [kissie34]
Hi nice, I can relate my Family, My Father and Mother also didn't finish College because of financial reasons and they made my sister and I reach our dream and it was their dream also! I will say they are smart in different aspect...LOL! My Dad is good in English and my Mom in Math! LOL! I admire them both and never in our life I can remember we have an idle time, we always gather and talk anything and have a debate! LOL! well, it is really an honor for them that i was graduated in a private school, no other parents can do what they done, other people say to them not send me to school coz im a girl and i will married afterall and my husband will just take me. but my parents say they want me to finish college because it is only the wealth that they can give me that no one can get from me. even if we are poor, my father is a construction worker and only received 130 pesos per day on that time and my mother wash clothes to the people who have no time to do that and received only 80 to 150 per household. many people confuse on how my parents send me i a private college school which the tuition fee is almost 15k to 18k per sem. after i graduated some people says that my parents can have a monument for doing that so. hi nice030481 never be ashamed that your mother is a gardener azs I think thats quite a calling, not everyone can grow things. You are right to say your mom is better than all of you as she saw to it you were educated, and she raised you all, and you are all working. so she did a lot of things right.Some moms never achieve allthat, and they had college educations too. Intelligence is not how many degree do you but how are you gonna use that brain of yours. there a lot of graduates now, who don't have jobs because they ingenuity and innovation and risk. but your mom had top all that. she knows better because she has experience, what's the use of knowledge with out experiencing it. it's a sad truth for almost all unemployed. like me.sad [Greeneagle24]

Wow... i applaud your mother for making the most out of life... even if she did not finish her education... my mother did not graduate from highschool but she is a very intelligent woman... and she saw how important education is to the future of us her children... that is why... she urged my father to graduate form college... while she worked long days... and made it a point that we her children graduated too... She is now a plain housewife... but i can say that she is the driving force why all of us her children have good lives... [aseretdd]
