My Son Received A "certificate Of Achievement" Today :)

and was also awarded a pizza lunch with the Principal and Vice. Each student has the opportunity to earn tickets for being responsible, caring, respectful, honest, and cooperative. At the end of each month, the teacher chooses a name from their ticket box to attend the Pizza Lunch with the Principal and Vice. I asked my son what he did to achieve the tickets and he said "I don't know" LOL but he did enjoy the Pizza lunch today!

My son got a certificate of achievement for a free small pizza at pizza hut for his report card. My other sons certificate is for free tacos and my daughters is for a free kids buffet at ponderosa. They are all thrilled. And I am just beaming with joy that they are all so smart! [cynicalandoutspoken]
Congratulations for all your children. It's his first one in Kindergarten so I am beaming with joy too! [maddysmommy]

Wow! Congratulations to Madison. That was good. I like that idea of the school that they choose a student every month and give them a sort of reward with the lunch date. That is nice. It will inspire students to be more behave. I think your son is just naturally good and behave. That's why he was not even aware that he did something really good to deserve that ticket. [toni_nakama]
It does inspire them and I think they choose one from each grade level :) [maddysmommy]

Awwwww! You're son always sounds like he is having so much fun in school and it sounds like he is doing well too. His school really gets the kids and parents involved. Good for you for being an active parent and congragulations to your son! [Flight84]
Good Luck Flight if you do decide to go on your own WOOHOO, I wish you all the luck in the world and do keep us updated! take care! [maddysmommy]

you must be so proud of maddy! congratulations to him too. you must have done a great job as parents since it is so rare that children are well behaved these days. tell him to keep it up and there will be more rewards, tangible and intangible ones later in life. it is always nice that children are positively affirmed for their good work, and not just reprimanded and punished for misbehaving. [squaretile]
I agree squaretile. I had not realised that they had this at their school so its great to know that he is behaving well :) [maddysmommy]

Dear Friend Well its good thing, kids get recognition and get high morales/sipirt thats good nice approach of school regards [cupid74]
Thanks Cupid. I was very proud of him! [maddysmommy]

See he doesn't know because it all comes naturally to him and that makes it even better! I bet you are really proud of him - I know I have been when my kids do well! xxx [mummymo]
Good for you honey - I love to keep things my kids have made or drawn really impresses Niall, my 14 year old son! lol Glad you like Niamhs name - I loved it when I had my son and had to wait 8 years! lol I couldn't keep all Niamhs things - she doesn't stop, it has gotten to the stage that we have to sneak things into the bin as she doesn't want anything to be thrown away, our house resounds to the strains of 'I could make something with that' lol xxx [mummymo]

Oh that is just too cute. I would be nervous eating with the principal of my school. Maybe it was one child from each class. His certificate did not state what it was for? That is odd. Oh well, as long as he was honored, you can be proud. Tell him I said Congratulations and keep up the good work. [Rozie37]
Actually I forgot to mention that it is one student from each class that attends the pizza lunch so he was not alone. As for whats on his certificate it says "congratulations on being chosen from your classroom ticket box for the "Character Education Pizza Lunch" :):) I am so proud of him! [maddysmommy]

Congratulations to your son! Glad that he enjoyed the pizza lunch even though he didn't know why he got it..lol You didn't mention how old your son is:) [SViswan]
lol...my son started the 'I don't know' when he was in first grade and it still continues! Btw...he's quite popular in school and gets almost all the achievement certificates for different categories every year since he was in kindergarten. We don't have the free pizza here...my son would have been thrilled to go out for pizza with the Principal....he's pally with everyone at school...and jokes with the vice principal that she is beautiful though short. lol...I would clamp up everytime I saw my Principal or Vice Principal! Btw..he's only 7. [SViswan]

Good for him! You've taught him well when bye second nature he is being "responsible, caring, respectful, honest and cooperative". Good on you! [bonbon664]
Thank you very much bonbon. I am very proud of him :) [maddysmommy]

hi maddysmommy! ^__^ this is late but congratulations to your son! you must be so proud of him. how old is he? he must be so adorable. maybe he did something nice as an instinct, like its natural for him and he wasn't thinking of the price. good kid. ^__^ [secretbear]
Hi Secretbear! He is five years of age and is in kindergarten. I think you could be right there. It's funny how at home he acts so differently and yet he behaves so well at school. Thanks for your comment :) [maddysmommy]
