Science In Public Schools Text Books

The scientist have said that things are this way, evolution and the christians are disputing it because the scientist have no prove to back it up.The admit, even in the kids textbooks that they have no proof, but still insist that it's the way it has to be.That christian's are saying as in the book of Genisis that God made the fish, animals, people, planets and that it cannot be true because we have no proof.Well, where is their proof?lolAnd this is what is being taught to kids in public schools.I got this information sheet telling about this at church yesterday.Iam going to make copies of it and the next time that someone tells me that my daughter is not getting a descent education because she is homeschooled Iam just going to give them a copy of this paper.Do you agree? Am I right?

I have home schooled my daughters for the past 2 years and it is the best decision I EVER made. Although they are already teenagers they are much better off not to mention that Chrisitian schools are expensive and they are getting a very well rounded education right here at home and in our church. This is more than enough for me. I have just about had it with all this evolution nonsense and I will not allow their minds to be poisoned by it!! And yes, by all means give them a copy they need to see. [rrdj71]
Yes,I will give them a copy.I have two boys that are adults now and I had the oldest one in a christian school during kindergartin. That is when I ended up in acoma and my son was only 5 and in a couple of days my other son would be 2.My son could not keep his mind on his work,he was thinking about me.The teacher got mad at him. Then they ended up going to public school's because I could not continue to work like I did before to keep him and put my other son in christian school. When I got married and was pregnant with my daughter I said that there was no way I was going to have this child in public school. When she got school age we found that we could not afford to pay for christian schools. Then I learned about homeschooling and she is finishing the 5th grade. We love it.Oh yeah by the way,she makes A's in science. It would be a perfect way to shut those people up. How would these people know whether or not your daughter is getting a proper education? Are they there watching you while you teach her? I wish more people would shut up and mind their own business. [thelastwolf113]
If everyone would just mind their own business instead of everyone else, imagine how many less problems there would be? I am fortunate enough to have a great public school where I live. There aren't too many kids to a class, maybe 20 at the most and the kids get the attention they need. After school, all the teachers are required to be there for an extra period specifically so they can help the kids who need more help. All the child has to do is tell them earlier in the day that they want to see them later. One day a week is for a teacher's meeting but that leaves 4 days for the kids who need extra help to get it. Big city public school are horrible, so much violence between the kids. When I was younger I knew a boy who was raped in the bathroom, he dropped out the next day. My nephew was beat unconscious. This is not a way for child to learn, how can they when they are stressed about what will happen to them? If we still lived in that area, I'd homeschool my son. As it is, I teach my son and his friends so many things. ADD and ADHD, more than 50% of those diagnosed with these conditions can be attributed to diet. Soda, sugar, and we wonder why our kids are hyped up? I read this in a well reknowned medical journal. It seems to be an epidemic, that teacher want all the kids to fit into one box. Anything else is considered wrong. As if children are not individuals. I am disgusted with the state of our education system in general. I believe more people will homeschool their children for numerous reasons in the years to come. If we care about our children's education, then we can give them proper schooling at home. I know someone who is temporary homeschooling her kids and she just makes them read. THAT is not homeschooling, it is laziness. However, I believe this is the exception rather than the rule. You are right in how you teach your children at home do to man trying to always try to say the word isn't true and to a true believer we really don't need man's supposed conceptions are scientific truths with nothing to back it up. We believe by faith and that's our truth thru his true word. Keep the faith! [Residual]
Yep,its God's word that says that we should teach our own children. [dfollin]

I don't think it is right for them to have that in there. It is getting to the point that it seems they don't want the kids to believe in god. It is really sad. Go for it! I hope they confront the schools and it makes a difference. [Thoroughrob]
sadIt is sad that God was kicked out of school! [dfollin]

All the public schools is taught by government regulations., I do not agree with what public schools teach,so i sent my children to christian school, that our church opened for our children..I am very happy that we were able to send them to a school that taught christian teachings..I admire you for home schooling your child,it takes time but it will pay off in the long run....
