Hello everyone, I recently posted a discussion titled
"Since discussions about God made you get "RUDE" It was in response to a message I got from a person (who will remain nameless) that told me to keep my beliefs to myself. and since there is no God I should find a topic worth posting. He/She rambled on about how truly brainwashed those who believe in God really were and how can we believe in what you can't see or touch and so on. Now I didn't mind that because He/She is entitled to their opinion. "BUT" there were some very RUDE things said that I won't repeat and the ONLY reason I didn't "let em have it with both barrels" was for two reasons #1 we were talking about GOD (so I couldn't let the DEVIL do my talking) "This Time!!!" and #2 I didn't want anyone else to get it "Twisted" thinking I was lashing out at them..(Because sometimes
we do read the first couple two lines and run with it)
I know because I've done it myself (ONCE) But I just wanted that person to know that god said "turn the other cheek, so I did.. but I say this "I got four Cheeks, I ain't turning but TWO, so if you go for more
than that Don't be upset to find that you've "bitten off more cheek than you can chew!!!" LOL

Well I give you a lot of credit. I had the same thing happen to me once on another forum. It was a discussion about the Bible, went on for 4 pages before I put in my opinion. The next morning I got a nasty personal message calling me a "Bible thumper", telling me to leave the forum. And she left rude replies on the thread. My first thought was to report her but after thinking about it for a few days I decided to start a new thread titled "What Would You Do"? I then proceeded to copy and paste the personal message asking people what they would do if they got a personal message like that in their mail box. Ahhh that was fun. [suitsme]
OH BOY!! I wish I'd thought of that, And not deleted the personal messages. that would have been so cool to show everyone just how rude people can be. thanks for the Idea [blkcat1]
For the first time ever I'm at a loss for words yet my fingers keep on typing! It's so hard for me to believe that people will actually send a personal message telling another person how wrong they are in their beliefs. I love what you said about your 4 cheeks! [mistymornster]

I don't know why ppl have to attack other ppl's beliefs even if you may not agree with them...Live and Let Live is my policy. I give you a thumbs up for not stooping to their level. God Bless You!! LIVE IN PEACE [twoey68]
I don't understand why people that feel they have to be rude in a discussion about God when they don't believe in him. They complain about religion being pushed on them but they come to the a religiuos discussion when they could just avoid that discussion altogether and not have God pushed on them [deebomb]
yea some people can be very rude when they could have just went on to the next discussion from the jump start. [disvachic]
