Are you or where you in high school part of any clicks (example geeks, jocks, preps)? What was the reason that you hung out in that group or groups?
Back in high school i wasn't part of just one group, i was accepted in every group by everyone. I didn't really think that i was just one of those type, there was something about every group that i had in common. I think that the reason that i was accepted in every groups was because i was the only person of color going to that school and everyone wanted to be my friend or at least part of their group.

I was the exact same way in high school. I have never been fond of clicks-my motto is "the more the merrier". In fact I think I unconciously try to make sure nobody is feeling left out. I had to laugh at your last line in that post. I went to a small high school, and there was only one (or maybe two) people attending who were not caucasion. They were everyone's friend and were accepted in all of the groups too. I don't think it was because they looked different though, but because they were great people and they got along well with others. I am glad to hear you had a similar experience in high school. Life is too short to exclude others because of their group status or skin color. [loved1]
ya i know what you mean. life is too short to to leave people out or to be left out. i think thats the make reason there a lot of people that hate high school. in my school there wasn't many kids getting pick on due to the fact that i would stand up for everyone. i could make that other person feel like bad and stupid. I was a part of every click from the jocks to the nerds but I flowed through each crowd without any problems. I'm a very diplomatic person. I am also they type that I just say plainly what is on my mind . LOL!! [bellaofchaos]

i was kind of.. but i would make my own clicks.. i never joined in with any groups any where i just make my own.. i have always been like that.. mostly because i seem to never fit in with out already formed groups [moonlitmagikchild]
well i never really fit in to one way or the other so i just found other people that didnt fit into one mold and were cool and we just made up a click of interesting/unique people that liked a little of everything [moonlitmagikchild]
Hi Sisco, I have never been a person to hang around ina certain group but like you had acceptance into any as I am a people person and was an invidiual who didn't give in to peer pressure to be in one particular clique. I am the same now I am older, I am not a gossip in the playground mum with some of the cliques but will speak to any of the mothers individually. I was always popular though. Ellie :D [ellie333]
