I am a college student. At first, I was expecting that college would be boring. I thought that i would not enjoy it as much as i enjoy my high school life. But, as it turned out, college is actually fun. And surprisingly enough, i realized that i enjoyed it more than i did in high school. The friends that i have in college right now are actually nice and adorable individuals.
How about you? Which did you enjoy more, your high school days or your college days?

College! No question that I enjoyed college far more than I enjoyed high school because in college, I get to choose and no one tells me what to do, the only problem is I have more responsibility than I did back in high school. [rogue13xmen13]
I loved high school. I am now at 53 just getting to college. I hope it will be fun:) [kijiky]
I think I enjoyed my high school life better because I was already married with kids when I went to college - and life was much more hectic! [kellys3ps]
It must've been hard, being a mother and college student at the same time. [janjee]
high school days were the best... i miss those days.... we used to play tricks on the teachers.... it was sooo funny... wish i could go back to those days... [j47lee]
oh, that reminds of my boy classmate in high school. He used to label a teacher with funny names. [janjee]
Hi There! Honestly, I enjoy my college years more than of my high school years. I studied in a catholic school when I was in high school. On my first and second year, we are all girls then for the remaining years, we are coed. Well, since it is high school, it was strict and all I do was study and I get to stay with my friends after school then get the last trip on the school bus going home… but my time was limited back then. In college, my parents were not that strict to me anymore since they expect me to be mature then. I like it more than high school since my parents allow me to go out with my friends and stay overnight as long as they know where I am going. Our projects were amazing and fun. I met a lot of people there. I am more independent more likely. So, I am happier in college than high school. Hehehe… Goodluck! Thanks for the discussion! Happy New Year and Happy HOlidays! Cheers! [jesbellaine]
I know a friend who studied in a Catholic school, and i understand that it was really very strict. Anyhow, you are fortunate enough to enjoy your college life. Thanks for the response, I appreciate it. God bless and happy new year! :D [janjee]
Well, this may sound dumb and perhaps on some level even cliche, but I had more fun in high school. When I was at university I actually did the right thing and worked! Not that I didn't dig college, I just think I could have done more to explore my "frat boy" opportunities. There were no toga parties...no drunken nights with women I hardly knew...no John Belushi, Animal House moments of lightness. I worked my tuchas off and now look at me - here I am hanging out with you guys on a networking site. *sigh* If only I had punk'd the dean, downed inhuman amounts of beer and gotten my "bang" on, why there's no telling where I'd be today... [jeffela]
Hi. Most people that I asked before actually said that high school was the best part of their lives. I think it's still up to us on how we will manage our lives and make it as enjoyable as possible. Thanks for sharing and God bless. Hope you enjoy it here in myLot. [janjee]
College was better for me, but not the part I did right out of high school. I had quit for a few years and went back to college 4 years after I graduated high school. By that time I had a little more self confidence and was better prepared for life. I did not have a good experience in grade school or high school except for Band and a few other activities. College was totally different and I was a lot happier. [capirani]
Hi capirani. Well, I have a classmate in college who has the same experience as yours. She must have stopped also. She is 20 yrs old and she doesn't hang out with us and doesn't participate much in the school's activities. I think she is more mature than the us, that's why. Well, I'm glad that you actually enjoyed your college days. Thanks and God bless you. :) [janjee]
I had a ball in High School it was a great time, I never went to college but sometimes i think about going back to school. I'm just not quite sure what I want to do. [missybear]
I think it would really help you if you go back to school. Lots of opportunities will be available to you if you finish college. That's just my opinion though. :) I'm wishing you all the best. God bless [janjee]
I like my college days much more. As the study pressure was pretty heavy in the high school. The homework was a lot everyday and everyday we had lessons for a long time. The life was quite boring. College was different, at least we could have some breaks. I love China [youless]
I can relate with you. My high school life was very hectic. There were so many requirements to accomplish. Sometimes, we were even required to go to school on weekends. Good thing i still enjoyed it. Thanks and more power to you. XD [janjee]
my college time was better than my high school time. I enjoyed so much free time I had in college, such as I had more flexible time in study, extra curricular activities and lots of friends and new experiences. For me, no more high school uniform. I hate wearing skirt :D. I enjoyed most was my study of course. I want to go back to college one day, to continue my master degree. [genta77]
Yeah, i am actually happy now that i do not have to wear our pink skirt anymore. I agree, I do have lots of free time now than before. At least, I can spend more time on my other activities. Thanks and God bless you more. [janjee]
I dont enjoy so much in my scool or college days. School days i was a book worm. During college i started to enjoy a little bit. I really did enjoy in my workplace. My first job. There was so much frredom to do researches whatever i want. My colleagues also very understanding co-operative. Weekends we did enjoy to the highest core. [dhaksha80]
Well, I'm glad that you are enjoying your work. Many people are not happy about their jobs. They seem to be very busy, with no time to enjoy themselves. I hope I'll enjoy my work in the future too, as I am also planning to do researches like you. Thanks and good luck to you. [janjee]
I prefer high school life.At university,I sometimes feel homesike and almost all my classmates come back to dormitory directly after class,so we have little time to cultivate our friendship. At the same time we have more free time now to enjoy ourself. [Shirleylan]
i see. well, i do not live in the dormitory. the school's in the same city where i reside so i do not feel homesick. wish you all the best. good luck. [janjee]
College days is far more better and enjoyable for me! I meet different individuals and I was able to cope up with each other differences (which in turn gave me a good learning). Being in college means, being mature too! Literally I am a lot older than in high school. So this means age, gave me the freedom to do the things I wanted to happen in my own prerogative. It is also more challenging. Why? Because at this stage, their are more trials or hardships I had encountered and had solved them on my own, and in return had boost my potential. [kixsh101]
i enjoyed my highschool days.. my batchmates (year 2000) were very nice.. we're all friends and every year we have a reunion.. but now.. some of them are working abroad so we dont see each other.. but we make sure that we chat when we have time.. my teachers are also very nice.. after class we play inside the classroom.. anything.. we're like kids. my college days were so boring..
