Who Was Your Favorite.....

Who was your favorite teacher in school? Is there one teacher who just stood out above the rest? I had a teacher Mrs.Russo she was a 8th grade health teacher. I feel like she was the one who stood out the most for me. Mainly because she saved me from a broken abusive home. Do you remember any particle teacher that helped you in any way?

My grade 12 physics teacher rocked! I mean that sincerely, he would explain the experiment and then crank up Boston and let us go to it. I got a 96 in that course, even though I nearly flunked home ec, lol. Coming in second, I think my grade 10 law teacher would win the prize. It didn't seem like a class at all..he'd always get caught up telling us a story. But he had such a colorful, animated way of speaking, that I still haven't forgotten the things he taught me, I can even see his face saying it! [CurlyRed]
Very cool thank you. [Lifez2short]

I had three male teachers in high school who were my pals and who took me to fast food places during class and all sorts of weird things I didn't know were weird at the time and, while I remember each one, I don't count them as doing anything for me but acting inappropriately with a student (although they didn't try anything sexually with me, just...pulled me out of class, leaving the class alone and took me driving around or even playing pool. How weird is THAT anyway?). The one teacher who DID help me was a creative writing teacher in 10th grade. I was always writing since I was a child but rarely did I allow people to read my stuff because I was self conscious. But in her class I HAD to let her read my stuff. I remember she called out to me as I was leaving her class and asked me to come back into the classroom for a minute. She handed me a creative writing project I had done and told me I had the talent to be a professional writer and asked me if I thought of pursuing it. Of course I had. It was the only thing I ever wanted to do. She had written on my paper that I should definitely submit the story I wrote to a magazine. I still have that paper. She encouraged me all year to go for it and I did. I was published as a teen and just kept on writing so I give her props for making me feel confident enough to actually let people read my work and for not making me work at a job I hated and just dream of being a writer. She gave me the courage to follow my dream. [wotfpatty]
Very cool story. [Lifez2short]

I actually had three. One my hihg school Latin and French teacher cause she made language fun, even Latin. The other two were my sophomore English teacher who made me appreciate reading the classic books. The last one was my senior English teacher who pushed us to try harder to come up with more and helped me want to write better. [jillmalitz]

I do not remember the names of all my teachers, but I think there was this one called Miss Cooper. She was in either my first, second, or third year class, and was quite nice. She helped me to learn how to print my letters and she let me write backwards and let me use the desk to my left rather than the desk that was only made for right handers. I do not know if that was her real name because unlike many people, we moved when my mother died about three or four times so any records we had were lost. I do know that she got married, and we had a days off because of it. [suspenseful]

I really liked Mr. Deusthman he was my 5th grade teacher. I live in Nebraska and his brother played for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and would give him suveniors to give the class so if you got a 100 on your spelling test you got Nebraksa Husker cups they were so neat. [hip2bemom]

My favorite teacher was my 8th gread band teacher Mr Evans. He was the coolest teacher I every had. I grew up in a rough kind of school and most of us kids knew that when ever we had and trouble that we could always count on Mr. Evans to be behind us no matter what. He is the only one that stands out in my mine to this day. [hoghoney]

any teacher who complimented me in a way was my favorite!LOL but really there weren't any single one but 3 of them. and i liked them for their good nature and soft speaking!:) [kaplya]

I had a 6th grade math teacher, Mrs Catt, that I adore and still admire to this day. She's moved on from teaching and got her PhD in education and is now the school principal. She was probably the best I ever had in school. [Sacrificialclam]

Sir Antony was my favourite teacher as he was good in teaching not only that he made us understand the subject that he took thats why i like him [daring]

Yeah there was one teacher in Class 8th who taught me English.Actually, all credit for my wonderful English goes to her.She was very friendly and always forgives me for any mistake that I had committed, which encouraged me to do more and more in her subject and thus I stood first in class. Have a nice day. [ajrox1810]
